City of Split

Always nice weather,
Always very special energy …

In the ancient times of
Roman empire
city of Split was home of the emperor Diocletian.

Even to these days,
famous Diocletian’s palace survived
as one of the Split’s
“must visit” places.

It is very interesting and mysterious,
the history of Roman emperors.
Why there were so many
of them
but only very few of them lived long(er) ?

Diocletian was one of them.

Maybe living most of the time in Split but not in Rome
helped him survive (?).
